YOGA TRAPEZDE

Besides its obvious benefits, Yoga Trapeze incorporates functional pulling and gripping motions that work both the upper and lower body.  These help build strength in addition to flexibility, creating a perfect complement to more traditional mat-based practices and workouts.  Over time, these become part of a full-body fitness routine.

Yoga Trapeze is versatile. Those who love the deep stretches of yoga will find those same kinds of stretches here, in a free-flowing class of floats and aerial poses.  Those who like a little more challenge or who crave strength and conditioning work will find all of that and more through the trapeze’s handle-based suspension system.  Where mat-based yoga tends to focus almost exclusively on the lower body and core, Yoga Trapeze enables a true full-body workout.

Yoga Trapeze also helps with challenging poses that require upper body strength.  Students learn arm balances and inversions that would require a spotter on a mat.  That’s a freeing, empowering experience.  

Plus, let’s be honest -- it’s awesome to hang upside down!
